Democrats are outraged that an illegal immigrant child died while in the custody of our Border Patrol just hours after being caught with their parents or parent. The 8-year-old boy from Guatemala died while in U.S. custody, immigration officials announced, becoming the second child to die in such circumstances this month.

In a statement, Customs and Border Protection said the boy -- identified by the Guatemalan consul in Phoenix as Felipe Gomez Alonzo -- died shortly after midnight at the Gerald Champion Regional Medical Center in Alamogordo, N.M. The cause of death is unknown; he had received treatment at the hospital starting on Christmas Eve.

Immigration officials say an agent first “noticed that the child showed signs of potential illness” Monday and brought the boy and his father to the medical center, where the boy was diagnosed with a “common cold.”

Prior to leaving the hospital, though, staff found a fever. They discharged the boy in the mid-afternoon with prescriptions for amoxicillin and Ibuprofen.

But later in the evening, the child “exhibited nausea and vomiting and was transferred back” to the facility for evaluation and treatment, CBP said, before dying around midnight.

Officials say the death is under investigation.

Democrats place no blame on the parents who drag their ill children thousands of miles to an unknown fate in the desert or mountains

TBR: We have no clue what diseases illegal immigrants are carrying into the country? It's in our opinion this boy showed some of the same symptoms the young girl showed not long ago.

But Yet Democrats are not Outraged that an illegal immigrant murdered a California police Officer Christmas night..

The 33-year-old officer was shot to death Wednesday after pulling over a suspected drunken driver, Gustavo Perez Arriaga. Perez Arriaga, a Mexican national, was arrested Friday on a murder warrant in a house near Bakersfield, about 200 miles southeast of where Singh was shot.

The sheriff leading the investigation blamed California's sanctuary law for preventing local authorities from reporting Arriaga to U.S. immigration officials for two previous drunken driving arrests. If he had been deported, the sheriff said, Singh would still be alive.

"We can't ignore the fact that this could have been preventable," Stanislaus County Sheriff Adam Christianson told reporters, asking why the state was "providing sanctuary for criminals (and) gang members. It's a conversation we need to have."

"It was a senseless tragedy. It could have been prevented," he said. "Unfortunately we're having this conversation because it was not prevented."

California's sanctuary law limits cooperation between local authorities and U.S. immigration officials and has drawn scorn from the Trump administration. It includes more than 800 exceptions for violent crimes and felonies and bars police from asking people about their citizenship status.

These tragedy's are caused by our dysfunctional & Immoral government who refuses to protect our borders from drugs, diseases and poverty we cannot afford.
